Li Showrun
When Li first arrived in Sakura's town, they were anything but friends. In fact, he even tried to steal the Clow Cards away from her. When this happened, Tori (Sakura's older brother) showed up to protect her. Li ran off. After a few adventures with eachother, however, they started working as a team. Soon after, they found themselves becoming friends. Li lives in a huge house, but has no parents. He lives with Wei (is that spelled right?) who is sort of his guardian. All his life, Li had been trained in the ways of magic and martial arts. He has a true talent for magic, and this is because he is a direct descendant of Clow Reed, the maker of the cards. Li grew up with Meilin Rei, who has an enormous crush on him, but the two really never had anything in common.
Li is very quiet, and prefers to be by himself in order to think. Some think that he is mean, or even rude. The truth is that he is very wise for someone so young, and knows a lot more than most kids could handle. He almost never smiles, and most of the time he appears to be frowning. However, on the inside he is very kind hearted (my fav episode is the one where Meilin tells Sakura about how Li ran through a thunder storm just to rescue her bird). Though Meilin has a crush on him, Li think of her as more of a friend than a girlfriend. This leads to many quarrels between the two *cough*. Actually, Li seems to like Sakura. After all, they both have the power of magic...
Li is about the normal size a fifth or fourth grader should be (did I mention that Sakura, Madison, Meilin and him are all 12 years old?). He has dark eyes, brown hair, and a mean/sad looking face. His battle costume is a Chinese outfit, and he also carries a sword. His sword can do everything that Sakura's wand can do, except fly. Despite his magical powers, he is not able to actually capture cards, and usually has to wait for Sakura.
