I have just read the first issue of Cruise news and Views and must say how much I enjoyed it. The article about "SS Uganda" was particularly Interesting as it brought back memories of a cruise to Norway in 1969. As a fourteen year old student it was a major adventure and I still recall it with find memories to this day although I have sailed on other ships since.

We have just returned from a holiday in Madera and had a wonderful time there. Your article on Madeira was superb - we want to go back!
Although we've never been on a cruise before we did see a couple of cruise ships berthed in Funchal and I must admit we now quite fancy the idea.
