Bad Moon Rising The full moon rises in the starry sky And I feel the wildness of my soul Answer gladly to its call It pulls me into the gloom And I merge into the night Becoming one with the blackness And giving myself over to the darkness within
Sea Of Passion Lost on a sea of passion, riding on its waves Swimming in its depths, drowning in it currents Until finally drifting to its shore, exhausted and spent But oh, so eager to dive into its waters once more
"This one is very dark, you might want to skip it." Terri Lyn Stanfield Black Void My mind whirls is confusion No hint of peace amidst its tumult It's dragging me down into a black nadir And sapping me of coherent thought It's taking me to a very dark place Though I fight hard against its pull Finally sucking me into an endless void Where I'll never be heard from again
Would I? If I could turn back the hands of time And be back in your arms once more Is that a trip that I would make If I could just erase the last twenty years And start all over with you Knowing then, what I know now Would I be willing to take that step No, I don't think that I would For if we'd remained together I'd never have become the person I am today You'd have seen to that Holding me back at your own level But without you, I became me And I wouldn't trade that for a lifetime with you
