Tough Love You look at me with trusting eyes Not a hint of fear or trepidation in them Certain that I will never hurt you And you're right, I won't, I'd die first But only you have this effect on me Everyone else keeps their distance Afraid even to cross my path And rightfully so, my reputation is well earned So how is it that you broke right through the barriers And took possession of my heart I don't know how you did it But I will be eternally grateful that you did
Just For Fun I didn't mean it I was just playing And I never saw The trap that you layed It was just for fun Nothing serious I didn't expect It to come to this But you played your hand With much envied skill And then you swiftly Moved in for the kill And before I knew What happened to me Yo'd stolen my heart And I couldn't see What you were doing Til it was too late I didn't fight it There'd have been no use And this is the place It has brought us to I have to admit It was a surprise To wind up in love Because of my guise
Neverending I watch as the waves roll in to the shore Steady, constant, neverending Never veering from their chosen path Though perhaps they arrive with differing force They are always there at their appointed time Overcoming all forces that would impede And steadfastly arriving at the shore And as I watch the mighty ocean kiss its sandy lover I think of you, and the strength of the love we share There exists no force that could come between us That could prevent us from reaching each other For we are like tha ocean and the shore Drawn irristibly, and eternally, to each other
