Scale Drawings Search for Railway Modellers.
			Drawings Search website: this website is specifically aimed at providing information concerning the locating the whereabouts  of drawings for the assistance of people working on a model railway layout or wishing to build specific models. The drawings that can be searched for fall into four categories: (1) locomotives (2) coaches, (3) wagons, (4) buildings and structures (eg signals). WE SUGGEST THAT YOU FIRST TRY THE LISTS OF SCALE DRAWINGS THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY SUPPLY. (SEE THE LINKS BELOW.) IF THAT PROVES UNSUCCESSFUL THEN YOU MIGHT THEN LIKE TO TRY THE DRAWING SEARCH SERVICE, FOR WHICH DETAILS FOLLOW: Drawings search: the charge for a search for scale drawings for a specific Locomotive, coach, wagon, and building or structure, where we can provide a copy of the drawing, will be �2- 50 per search per drawing subject, (for example a successful search for a loco, a coach, two wagons and a specific building would be �12-50.)  plus postage at cost. If we are unable to provide a copy of the drawing, for example where a drawing on one of our lists is marked as sold, then we may be able to provide information as to how to get a copy of the drawing, (although we cannot guarantee to be able to do this unless the drawing is actually listed ). Where we  can provide information as to a source of the required drawing , we currently charge �1-50 per drawing as a search fee, this fee being to offset the time and costs in setting up the search index. Drawing Standards vary from a totally accurate scale drawing with dimensions, through an accurate scale drawing without dimensions, to dimensioned drawings where the exact scale as drawn cannot be guaranteed, to a basically accurate drawing sufficient to be able to make a  representation of the real thing.  If we successfully search for the desired subject matter, we will give a statement as to the nature of the drawing, along the lines just outlined, so that you can decide whether you wish to take the matter any further. Payment can be either via cheque (slower) or through paypal. (Almost instant.) Please note that we do however pass on the fee that paypal charge us. We are constantly adding drawings to the lists as we ourselves index the various sources, so it is worth revising the website from time to time.
