For you NS fans, this engine is right up your alley. I hadn't seen any NS (PRR) 1440, the Former Conrail 1686. In the drab, nasty colors of Norfolk Southern Corp. I was only surprised that they hadn't removed the toilet for a bag in this unit yet. Late Summer 1999 |

After the NS engine was gone (amen to that!) Conrail (CSXT)1564 was working in the yard. Does this O.L. painted engine look like another one on this page????? |

RIGHT: It was about 9:00p.m. on a cold Winter Night. The sun had set at about 6:00p.m. I decided to take a chance on getting a pic of the 1453 while it was still at Trenton Yard, so I set my camera on the bumper of a truck, set the camera for automatic shutter release, and it only took about 5 seconds to snap this pic. Notice how the locomotive has a ghostly appearence because the lights on inside were brighter than the sky! |

Conrail (PRR) 1441 was sitting idle in Trenton Yard in May 2000 waiting for its next assignment that wouldn't come until Monday. A few days after this pic was taken, the engine was switched out for another, but that is still to come to this page!!! |
