The Crow:
Salvation
In 2001, The Crow:Salvation was released direct-to-video, but don't let that fool you into thinking that the movie is just not good. Eric Mabius plays Alex Corvis, a young 21 year old who is wrongly executed for killing his girlfriend. Soon after his electrocution, Alexis comes back from the dead to avenge the death of his girlfriend and his wrongful death also. Guided by the crow and his girlfriend's sister, who is played by Kirsten Dunst, he unmasks a web of corruption within the police system. He must not only fight the corruption he has uncovered, but fight the darkness in his own soul, also. As the third film in the great Crow legacy, this film was not shown much attention and many people do not even know that it was released. Complications within the film industry caused this film to go straight to video when it clearly has the stars and the story to make it on the big screen. Mabius does a wonderful job playing his part and the story is a great new addition to the series of films about love, death, and redemption.
