Eastern portal of the abandoned 1907 railroad tunnel on the reservoir side of Bow Ridge at Conemaugh River Lake. There is a 20 foot thick concrete "stopper" at the western side of the tunnel to prevent the reservoir from draining through the tunnel (thus bypassing the dam) during high water. 100 yards inside the eastern end the tunnel is blocked by a cavein. Some Oak Fern grow on the ground & in cracks of the stonework just inside the eastern portal, on the left side (facing in). Nearby on the ridge are some Common Hackberry trees & further away on the ridge a stand of Pawpaw trees. 1907 railroad bridge
