Requirements
Over the course of the semester, you will work through several structured exercises and write several short, informal, journal-style assignments. You will either post your work into either your project notebook or your online portfolio. Each article should reference one, or more, online sources. Note, you will need to maintain both your class notebook and your online portfolio. Periodically you will need to turn-in the project notebook for evaluation. At the end of the term, the portfolio will be evaluated.
Length/Style
Unless otherwise stipulated, each journal article should be between 200 to 500 words. Articles need to be readable and easy to understand. While the tone of the article may be informal, articles must employ correct grammar and spelling.
Evaluation
Assignments are graded on a scale similar to: outstanding 90% to 100%; very good 80 to 89%; meets assignment requirements 70 to 79%; doesn't meet assignment requirements 60 to 69%; insufficient engagement with the course or other major problem 59% or less.
There are six separate project notebook assignments. Download specific assignment information
