Art Exhibition, Poetry Reading & Music Venue: Bluffer�s Restaurant located at Bluffer�s Park Marina Date: Sunday, July 25th, 2004 12pm to 8pm Entry: Free On July 25th, we Brought together about twenty artists, poets and musicians from diverse cultures and communities from the city of Toronto and surrounding areas on a common platform - that being �Peace & Harmony� through art.. �Peace & Harmony� is the theme to help generate a positive message about Scarborough. Brought art of diverse cultures & communities together on a common platform to share and create unity, peace, understanding and much more, within the diversity. A gallery of visual art (all day), sculpture (all day); poetry readings, poetry books (all day) and local musicians were provided at various times throughout the day. We will ontinue with the event in other parts of GTA (Rexdale and North York)with the message of �Peace and Harmony� through Art. The event is being organized by CROSS CURRENTS(Indo Canadian International Arts/non-profit org.) and the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Poetry Association |
