May 13th 2007 - Oh deary me its been a while since I updated this page. However I have an excuse at least for the past couple of weeks because Carrie and I have just had our annual CS meeting in England. Carrie flew over bringing her 7 year old son Jamie this time and we have had a wonderful time.:) Jamie slotted nicely into my family with my son, daughter and husband all taking turns entertaining him!LOL I think he enjoyed having so many adults about and we all had fun going to Legoland, a zoo, park, shopping for new toys, making cookies and generally just being 'family' because thats what we are now. :) The annual CS Canada meeting takes place at the end of October when my daughter and I are visiting Carrie and maybe we can organise a get together over there with some Bpers?
June 3rd 2007 - At last!! A new poem!! Thank you so much to Alba (Lindita) our 14 year old poet who did such a great job with her poem, Patience. Lets have some more please!!!
July 8th 2007 - We have another new poem, this time from Lois (Lobo) and its called 'A Real Smile'. Thanks so much Lois, maybe your poem will encourage some others to try their hand at poetry too. :)
July 25th 2007 - Today is Crooked Smiles 4th anniversary and to make it even more special I am very excited to say that Carrie is expecting a small addition to her family next year (no not another dog!LOL). We will keep you updated as things progress and we really can't wait for the birth of our Crookedsmiles baby. :)
November 4th 2007 - The 2007 CS team meeting in Canada is now completed and my daughter and I have just got back home after a two week visit with Carrie and her family. :) While there we were delighted to find out that Carries 'small addition' is a baby girl who will become an official part of the CS team in April. My daughter and I also met up with a lady called Ruth from the BPA forum which was an extra treat and I hope we can do it again sometime. Also the week before I went off to Canada I had the opportunity to meet two lovely ladies called Roni and Leighsa from the BPA forum. I have now met 14 BPers and hope there will be many more meetings.:)
November 27th 2007 - Many thanks to Ron for spending time reading through the poetry here and being inspired to offer us his poem to share - 'The Face Of A Stranger'. Its a great effort and I wish many more people would put pen to paper and swamp us with more wonderful poems. Come on everyone, I would love to see some more before Christmas. :)
January 1st 2008 - Happy New Year to everyone, I hope it is another safe and special year for us all. Please send in any contributions, poems, thoughts, ideas..anything!
March 18th 2008 - We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our Crookedsmiles baby girl, she's due anytime now. :) Meanwhile its been pretty slow in CS land and we would love some fresh material to put on the site, so please help.
April 1st 2008 - I am totally delighted to announce the birth of our crooked smiles baby! Carrie gave birth to little Allison Marie today. She weighed 6 pounds one ounce and is perfect. :) I can't wait to fly out and meet her.
