October 12th 2003 - After much blood, sweat, tears, late nights and early mornings, we have finally finished the updates to the site and we think it looks very smart...any comments? Put them on an email to us, we'd love to know if you like the new look or if you totally hate it!LOL  Either way its staying for now. :)
We are now busily preparing for the Crooked Smiles Staff meeting and Team Building exercise which commences on October 25th and was mentioned on page 1.  Not long now!! Watch out Canada!

October 17th 2003 -
Today we created page 10 of the poetry pages with the addition of a new poem by Sherry K.  We now have two authors called Sherry, so the second Sherry has that additional letter so we know who is who!LOL  Thank you so much Sherry K for letting us add your great poem to the site and if anyone else out there has some work to share please send it to us.

- The Crooked Smiles Staff Meeting and Team Building exercise was terrific fun! I loved Canada and the Falls were fantastic to see. :)  But the best part was finally meeting Carrie and her family.  I just want to say a big thank you to Carrie for making our trip so special and for being such a great person and wonderful friend. Love you lots.. :)

November 6th 2003 - Today we added the Guest Page. The work there will be from people who don't have BP/FP. Thank you so much Tom for giving us this fantastic piece of work. You really did capture the essence of what this place and the people are all about. We are delighted to be able to share it with our friends here too.

November 9th 2003
- We have two new poems, one on page 11 and one on the non-BP pages. Both are from Gary. Thanks for these Gary, we love them! We have an entry about Gary on the authors page. :)

November 10th 2003
- Gary is keeping us busy with yet another poem, this time on Fun Page 5.  Gary its just great DEAR! LOL :)

November 30th 2003
- Page 12 on the BP poetry pages was created today with the addition of a poem called 'The Visitor', written by Sonya. Thank you Sonya, it's great. :)

December 5th 2003
- We have created a Comments Page. This is to accomodate those that have more to say than will fit on a guestbook entry. Quite often the guestbook entries get cut short, so if you want to say whats on your mind, just email us and we will add it there. :)

December 18th 2003
- A warm welcome to our latest author Ellen from Belgium, who has allowed us to display some of her poems on BP page 12. Thank you Ellen for sharing with us.

December 24th 2003
-  It's Christmas Eve 2003 and we have had more than 2500 visitors since this site was born as an idea in July this year. We are so proud that people have visited and even prouder that people have allowed us to display their work here. The poems are ALL wonderful and we just hope that the New Year brings us many, many more and that thousands more visitors get to enjoy them.  Thank you for visiting and reading. Come back often and have a fantastic Christmas and New Year. Love and Hugs from Splash and Carrie. xoxoxo

January 1st 2004
- HAPPY NEW YEAR!  Just had to say that..LOL

January 13th 2004
- We created a new page today 'How it was for us' . The idea came when Sherry Somach sent us her story about her BP and offered to let us put it on the site. We decided it would be a good idea to offer all the BPers/FPers/ or relatives of them, the opportunity to tell us their story. We don't need masses of medical details, just tell us how you felt, how it affected your lives and how you are dealing with it now - that kind of thing.  Anyway, read through Sherrys account and it will give you the general idea.  Hopefully it will give the people who aren't poetry writers a chance to express themselves here too. :)

January 20th 2004
- We are delighted to report that there is to be another Crooked Smiles Staff Meeting!!! This second event will be held in the United Kingdom in May this year and will take place not too far from Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. No attempts will be made to steal the Crown Jewels on this occasion, but if a particular tiara is admired then we may offer the Queen a few bob for it. Small children will be left behind in Canada and larger ones will be seen but not heard in England. Hubbies will be ignored at all times. Full reports will be made after the event if we survive it a second time. ;)
