THE VISITOR

A visitor came the other day
Crept into my skull in a casual way
First seeing sparkles and splashes of light
He tingled and tugged and absorbed my whole night
Then AM's light found me asleep in my room
Half of my face was sealed in a tomb
No expression, no light, no feeling but pain
My ear gnawing and ringing
Eyes tearing like rain
Now he just hangs around to tease and to taunt
While simply to smile is all that I want
He's distorted my vision, my hearing, my taste
This unwelcome guest has laid me to waste
He came in the night and stole me away
Now I keep my face hidden with little to say
Everyone tells me I just have to wait
One day he will leave and give back my face

BELLS PALSY

Bell's Palsy
To me it's almost like a game
Only I lose
Over and over again
Sometimes it feels like I'm winning
But then again
My health keeps on spinning
Throw the dice one more time
And try again
Try again...

MY HEART CRIES

My heart cries
Suffers from all these pains
I dont know who I am
My life has changed
Who am I?
No reply
Where is the person I used to be
This is not me

LIKE A THIEF

Like a thief in the night you came to me
And took away my identity
Ive been wating for all these months
Hoping that it will come back
I know its there somewhere
Looking for its way home
Till that moment comes
Ill be waiting

CAN'T SEEM TO HIDE

I cant seem to hide,
the way I feel inside
Im drowning in my misery
My heart only feels sympathy
My emotions are almost gone
And I wonder for how long
This is not the way I want to be
But no matter how hard I try
Right now I just want to cry
