MATERIALS
Crochet Cotton Thread Size: #10 (3 or 4 ply)
Needle Size: 7 steel crochet hook or hook to obtain the gauge

Approx. 30 yards color Light Peach,
South Maid #424;
Approx. 25 yards color Peach, South Maid # 483;
Small amount of color Cream for purse;
2 small snaps #4.0;
1 Pink Baby Butterfly Appliqu� by Patch It Up, Hirschberg, Item # AP 7606-23;
Sewing needle and thread;
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends;

GAUGE
9sc = 1"; 10 rows= 1"

PATTERN NOTES
Basic Stitches Used: Ch, sc, hdc, sl st, dc;

V-STITCH: 1dc, ch2, 1dc in same st;

PANTS
Row 1: Starting with color Peach, ch28, sc in sec ch from hook and in each rem ch, ch1, turn (27sc)
Row 2: 1sc in first sc, 1sc in each rem sc across, ch1, turn (27sc)
Row 3: Inc in first sc, 1sc in each of next 25sc, inc in last sc, ch1, turn (29sc)
Row 4: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (29sc)
Row 5: 1sc in each sc across, join with slst in first sc, ch1, turn (29sc)
Row 6: Rep row 5 (29sc)
Row 7:  First leg: Ch2, sk 14sc, slst in next sc, slst in first ch, 1sc in next ch, 1sc in each sc around including slst, join with slst in first sc, ch1, turn (16sc) Make sure you are working on the opposite side in order to remain the same stitch pattern
Row 8: 1sc in each sc around, do not join, ch1, turn (16sc)
Row 9: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (16sc)
Row 10 & 11: Rep row 9 (16sc)
Row 12: Inc (2sc) in first sc, 1sc in each of next 7sc, inc in next sc, 1sc in each of next 6sc, inc in last sc, ch1, turn (18sc)
Row 13: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (19sc)
Row 14: Inc in first sc, 1sc in each of next 8sc, inc in next sc, 1sc in each of next 7sc, inc in last sc, ch1, turn (22sc)
Row 15: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (22sc)
Row 16, 17 & 18: Rep row 15 (22sc)
Row 19: Second leg: Attach color Peach with sc in sec ch, 1sc in each rem st across, join with slst in first sc, ch1, turn (16sc)
Row 20-30: Rep row 8-18, on row 18, leave approx. 7" of thread to sew the seams together and break off, weave in all ends;
Left Opening:
Row 31: Attach color Peach with sc in first st, work 5sc evenly spaced down on left back opening, ch1, turn (5sc)
Row 32: Work 5sc to beginning of opening (5sc) Continue across 1sc in each of next 27 sts on row 1 of pants (27sc)
Continue on Back Opening
Right Opening:
Row 33: Work 5sc evenly divided down back opening, ch1, turn (5sc)
Row 34: 1sc in each of next 5sc, ch 1 turn (5sc)
Row 35: 1slst in each of next 5sc, break off (5slst)
Weave in all ends, overlap left side of opening over right side, sew on 1 snap and sew seams of legs together;

TOP
Row 1: With color Light Peach ch21, 1sc in sec ch from hook, 1sc in each ch across, ch1, turn (20sc)
Row 2: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (20sc)
Row 3: 2sc in first sc ( 2sc in next sc) rep across, ch1, turn (40sc)
Row 4, 5 & 6: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (40sc)
Row 7: 1sc in each of next 5sc, skip 10sc for sleeves, 1sc in each of next 10sc, skip 10sc for sleeves, 1sc in each of next 5 sc, ch1, turn (20sc)
Row 8: 1sc in first sc, 1sc in next sc (2sc in next sc, 1sc in each of next 2sc) rep across, ch1. turn (26sc)
Row 9: Rep row 8 (34sc)
Row 10 & 11: 1sc in each sc across, ch1, turn (34sc)
Row 12: Trim: Ch3, 1dc in first sc (1dc, ch2, 1dc in next sc) rep across, break off ( 34- Vsts)
Row 13: Attach color Peach with sc in first ch2 loop, ch3, sc in next ch2 loop ( ch3, sc in next ch2 lp) rep across, break off and weave in all ends
Row 14: Trim around Neck Opening: Attach color Peach with slst on right side of back opening, ch1, 1hdc in first st (skip 1st, slst, ch1, 1hdc in next st) rep across, break off and weave in ends;
Row 15: Trim for Sleeves: Attach color Peach with slst in first sc on bottom of sleeve, ch1, 1hdc in first sc (skip 1sc, slst, ch1, 1hdc in next sc) rep across, join with slst in first st of beg, break off;
Second sleeve: Rep row 15;
Right Back Opening:
Row 1: Attach color Light Peach with sc in first st, work 12sc evenly divided down to row 11, ch1, turn (12sc)
Row 2: 1sc in each sc, ch1, turn (12sc)
Row 3: 1sc in each sc , break off;
Weave in all ends,
Iron on 1 small butterfly to front of top;
Sew on 2 snaps on back opening, overlapping left side over right;

HAIR TIE
Holding 1 string of color Peach and 1 string of color Light Peach thread together crochet 60chs, break off;

PURSE
Row 1: With color Cream, ch6, slst in first ch to form a ring
Row 2: Ch1, work 12sc in ring, join with slst in first sc, ch1 (12sc)
Row 3: 1sc in first sc, 1sc in each sc across, join with slst in first sc, ch3 (12sc)
Row 4: 1dc in first sc, 1dc in each sc across, join with slst in 3rd ch, ch1 (12dc)
Row 5: 1sc in first dc, ch1, 1sc in next sc (ch1, 1sc in next sc) rep in each dc across, join with slst in first sc, ch2 (12sc, 12 chs)
Row 6: 2 hdc in each ch1 sp across, join with slst in 2nd ch of beginning, ch3 (24 hdc)
Row 7: 1sc in first hdc (ch3, skip 1hdc, 1sc in next hdc) rep across, join with slst in first ch of beginning (12- 3ch loops)
For handle, ch30, join with slst on opposite side of purse and break off;
For tie, ch25, break off, starting in front weave through row 6, pull tight and tie ends together.
Attach small fringe made with color Peach on bottom of purse;

FINISHING
Weave in remaining ends.
