A Love of Crochet, A Love of Barbie

Mom�s been crocheting ever since I can remember. Table cloths, bed spreads, doilies. You name it. But growing up, she NEVER crocheted me Barbie doll clothes, even thought I did love Barbie! What great fun that was.

Not too long ago though, mom did start crocheting clothes from patterns. They looked very nice, and were very durable. She then started experimenting on her own�crocheting without a pattern. Most of these were the beginnings of the Barbie Fun in the Sun Collection.

I remember she took great pains to make sure everything was OK. �No, look at this stitch. This won�t do� she�d say. But I looked, I couldn�t tell, they looked perfect to me. She continued to grow, eventually creating the Barbie Evening & Formal Wear, Barbie Bridal and Barbie Specialty outfits.

We've discontinued our line of Barbie Collections for now, choosing to concentrate our efforts on mom's newest line of Crochet Patterns for Kelly and Li'l Friends.
