| Finger placement of the chords to the strings runs as follows. For the fingertips numbered the index 1 middle finger 2 ring finger 3 and pinkie is 4 The G chord is played by placing 2 on the first string in the third fret. Place 1 on the second string and the second fret. Place 3 on the last string third fret. Now.......try to strumm the chord. As your fingers get stronger and you learn what the chords are the better you will see you are getting. Make the guitar a regular practice and you will be strumming tunes in no time. Just dont Quit. |

| One one of my favorite things is playing music on my guitar. I have a selection of older songs and a few hymns. Hey, I might have some newer songs too, but ya never know.. I would love to be able to teach guitar someday and this here is the plan I will use for my first lesson. First you need a guitar and Second a chord sheet. Third thing you will need is a simple song. Here you will find two out of the three things you need. |
