| Day 14, June 30, was classified by our tour leader, Doug, as a rolling rest day. We only had 35 miles to get to our destination of Idaho Falls. So we woke up late and headed out to follow the Snake River into town. Next to the river were some unbelievable homes like the one seen above. The short day allowed Shawn and I to visit a couple bike shops in town and purchase some needed biking supplies. We also found the time to do some laundry. That evening we lightened our bikes for what was being rumored as the toughest day of the trip...over the Grand Tetons. The picture below is what gave Idaho Falls its name. |
