Day 15, July 1, was the most memorable day of the trip so far. 91 miles over two summits, the highest we have been so far.  I think I took about 50 pictures today.  You will only get to see 8 of them over the next three pages, but they are the cream of the crop. Above is a picture of the Snake River.  This picture was our reward after a 30 mile climb into the wind.  And to add insult to injury, there was a two mile detour.
This is Shawn and I at the end of the first climb to the Pine Creek Summit. It is also the highest point we have been to yet, but we are going higher. The elevation was only a minor problem, the 10% grade was big problem.
