*October 15th - Earn the �Making it Matter� badge found on page 188 of your Junior Girl Scout Badge book.  We will depart for UTA from Albertsons parking lot at 11:45. Permission slips and $5.00 due Tuesday October 11, 2005 Contact Ranee Noll @ 817-715-9622 for more information.

*October 22nd - Earn the �Science Sleuths� badge found on page 208 of your JR GS Handbook. We will depart from The First United Methodist Church, Kennedale at 11:45.  Permission slip and $5.00 due by Tuesday October, 11 Contact Ranee Noll @ 817-715-9622 for more information.

*November 5th � We will meet at the McDonalds on Hwy 287/Sublett Rd and depart at 3:00pm for the All Star Equestrian Center in Mansfield.  Permission Slips and $15.00 due at the October 11 troop meeting.  The girls will be earning the �Horse Fan� badge.  The class is 1 � hours.  Parents will pickup at McDonalds at 5:30pm.

November 8th � Meeting at the First United Methodist Church in Kennedale.  We will be going over last minute details for camping trip to Mineral Wells.  $15.00 and permission slip is due for Camping.   

November 12th � Community Smorefest at Mainstay Farm 5:30-9:30pm.  This is a family event, not a troop event.  Cost is $10.00 per girl.  Campfire, Square Dancing, Smores, Hot dogs, games, crafts.  More information contact Cathy Hodge @ [email protected]

Camping Lake Mineral Wells State Park

Wilderness Survival � This 2-1/2-hour course is a fun way for kids to learn what to do if they become lost. The course includes interactive games, demonstrations and a hike on the nature trail.   This class is taught by Texas Parks Department. $15.00 and permission slip was due on November 8th.

December 3rd � Birds Christmas Tree @ Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.  Music and entertainment, girls will be making biodegradable bird treats to hang in the Garden's Grove and bring a sack lunch.

December 8th � Troop Meeting (Parents required to attend) 7:00-8:15pm at First United Methodist Church in Kennedale.
