Luxembourg is one of the wealthiest countries in the world per capita. It has a very surreal feel as everybody is doing well and living comfortably.

Arrive

I flew Lux Air from London City to Luxembourg. Luxembourg airport on the outskirts of the city and easily accessiable by bus or taxi.

Top Squash -Top Squash is very much an ex-pat club in Sandweiller.



Old Town - Well worth going for a walk around the old town and going up the elevator from the river to the main square in the city.
War Memorial -Between the city and Sanweiller is the US WWII cemetery. It is where General Patton lies.


Shopping -There is plenty of shopping to be done, but don't expect any bargains as Luxembourg is very expensive.

Rest

We stayed with a friend so didn't look at alternative accommodation. With nothing coming cheap in Luxembourg make sure you take the time to look around.
