Our History
Corner Bakery was founded in 1957 by Edward Rolland in the village of Milan, IL. The bakery has since been a town tradition, and now going to its third generation, the Rolland's are looking to re-gain their local appeal by reaching the millenials and new residents from the Quad-Cities of Illinois and Iowa via the web.
Our Founder
Edward Rolland, unlike the rest of his siblings, had decided that his future would not take place in their family farm, during his school years, Edward spent countless days helping his parents in the farm, but once out of school, Edward started working on a bakery, few years later he had enough money saved to start his own bakery. With a vision, and strong core values, Corner Bakery was founded.
