Rider's Oreo Girl was my first walking horse. She is a very refined mare and she puts a beautiful head, conformation, and attitude on her foals. She is most definately "my girl" and we have a special relationship. basics since I'm neither as young nor as fit as I once was. The next time I got on her back, we were a team. She has won the blue, been a sure-footed and reliable trail horse and has kept up with the best at field trials. She allows me to hang all kinds of stuff on her for Christmas parades and exhibitions and always attracts a lot of attention.

Rock and Roll Angel "Sheba", as she is known, is a lovely homozygous mare that produces lovely, loose, and classy foals. Sheba is my husband's mare and he was taken with her the very first time he saw her. She was shown in model as a yearling, but now she enjoys her pasture mates, the occassional field trial or trail ride, and being mommy.
Rock Aby Baby is Sheba's 1998 filly by Cedar King Royal. She's a beautiful mare and is the very first one to come greet visitors. Her 2002 and 2003 foals by Bogey are both wonderful colts, although she surprised us with a solid liver chestnut in 2002. All the foals can be seen on the Foals page.
Our stallion, Bogey, was her first foal. I've been told that the first foal is never the best, and if that's true, we have some wonderful babies to look forward to. Certainly her second foal, Oreo's Maggie May was one of the most beautiful fillys I've ever seen. She is being spoiled rotten by Cindy and Gary Kowalke in Wisconsin.
The kind face of Ginger, the mare that carries the novice rider and child in secure safety. She has taught many the pleasure of riding and being around horses.

Sheba's 1999 filly, Cedar King's Lady Rose, is lovely and we are having fun showing her and she's a kick on the trails holding a steady flat or running walk all day. Rosie has a sweet and willing disposition and a wonderful gait. She is a tall mare and loves the attention she gets when people see her.

This view from our breakfast nook is the very best way to start the day. I love seeing "spots" before my eyes.
She has a smooth saddle gait and is alwyas the horse I choose when someone wants to experience the comfortable ride of a walker. She was just a two year old when I first saw her at Cedar Hill Farms in Loganville, GA. She was very green, but I've always likes starting my own horses. She could buck with the best of 'em at first, so we went back to round pen
Christmas 2004 was a happy time for the Leggett and Ryles families. Jaiden Ryles of Hazlehurst, GA is now the proud mom of Baby and her brother, Jace Ryles is Ginger's new person. Mr. Charlie Leggett of Baxley, GA fell in love with Rosie. The "three girls" are now living in a beautiful new barn in Baxley and still close enough that I can go visit.
