Background

Many tasks carried out in the workplace are done using information technology. To complete the tasks efficiently and to an acceptable standard, staff need to be competent in using an ever increasing variety of computer hardware and software.

 

Requirements

     Listed below are a number of workplace needs that require an information technology solution. Create and develop the following office documents that may address your work place needs. Save each of the documents, and place the file name and location, the name of the software package, as well as the print out date in the document footer (or in another appropriate location). Use a variety of software applications to produce the documents you submit.

·      A floor plan of the workplace/office;

·      Templates:  memo, fax, letterhead;

·      Procedure for using a workstation;

·      Training document for software in workplace;

·      Hardware user’s guide;

·      Other office documents.
