Vector
graphics can be easily enlarged but are difficult to edit at the pixel level.
They
are drawn using co-ordinates and critical reference points. Straight lines and
tangents to set curves form the graphic.
A
vector graphic generally needs less memory than a bit-mapped image.
COMPRESSION
Compression
software looks for patterns of repeating pixels. This helps reduce the size of
the file.
