Personnel Records

 

Employers need to keep addresses, phone numbers, qualifications etc. Letters, paydockets etc can be generated by linking the ddatabases with spreadsheets and other applications.

Statistics can be generated from the information kept eg employee profiles on average age.

Privacy becomes an issue here.

 

Banking Records

 

EFT stands for Electronic Funds Transfer. EFTPOS stands for Electronic Funds Transfer Point of Sale.

EFT transactions can include

·        Deposits & withdrawals

·        Transfer & account balances at Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs)

·        Home banking
