A system consists of
a processor that uses resources to perform procedures so that a purpose is
achieved. Procedures are the instructions that specify what processing is to be
performed. A processor is whatever (or whoever) carries out or executes the
procedures. Resources are anything used by the processor to perform the task. A
Black Box is a system whose internal parts are not fully understood.
The environment is
the elements outside the system that affect the system. The boundary separates
a system and its environment.
