Ergonomics is the
relationship between people and their work environment. Furniture design needs to
take into account each person's body dimensions. Equipment such as monitor and
keyboard needs to be placed so that there is no strain put on a person's body.
Work routine including regular breaks reduce the effects of fatigue and improve
efficiency. Work environment includes lighting, climate and noise. These need
to be regulated to help efficiency.
