Desktop Publishing (DTP) is the use of specialised software to combine text and graphics to create a document. It involves five basic stages

  1. Page Layout-columns, borders, placement of graphics
  2. Create Text-wordprocessing
  3. Prepare Graphics-drawing and importing
  4. Formatting-final adjustments
  5. Printing-draft is usually printed first before a final copy
