Graphics programs
are classified into Paint and Draw programs depending on how the graphic is
stored. Animation programs create the illusion of movement and are used for
cartoons. Path based animation involves drawing individual frames and displaying
them in sequence. Cell-based animation involves displaying the movement of
objects onto a fixed background.
Warping is the
smooth change between two images that have completely different shapes.
Morphing is the smooth change between two images that are similar in shape.
