Graphics systems contain
five main content areas: hardware, software, data, applications and people.
10.1 Hardware
Input devices are
keyboard, mouse, digitiser, scanner, graphics tablet and light pen. Output
devices are monitor, printer and plotter.
Most monitors are

the screen in a raster scan. This has to be done regularly to maintain the
