9. Can you give us some insight as to new and upcoming characters and comics? Who is working on them?

Well, its hard because a lot of things are released through Wizard so I have to keep them secret. I think that Joe's Comics is going to be a GREAT venture. For those of you who didn't see the press release, we're going to be doing a line of comics written by J. Michael Straczinski. He's such a great writer! As soon as his stuff comes in I read it. I like to see it in my mind before the artist does his interpretation. I think I'm a lot more sentimental than most artists so my interpretation is really romanticized. Think of Fabio as Killian...I'm SO KIDDING! But Adrian Paul is definitely in most of the versions in my head! Mmmmm...

10. Everyone wants to know why J. Scott Cambell takes so long to come up with a new issue, do you have any inside information?

Well, I don't work with him but I know from a couple of people that I work with that the drive to GET to the top is a lot easier to maintain than the drive to stay there. Once you've done it its hard not to move on to the next thing. Like I said, a monthly comic schedule is REALLY harsh.

11. How is it working with the cast of characters down there at Top Cow? Can you tell us a little about the people you work with? Michael Turner, Randy Green, Marc Silvestri.

Michael Turner He's like the big brother that drives you crazy with teasing but there's nothing you can do about it. There's NO way for me to get him to do what I say. But he's sort of obsessive compulsive like me so I sort of relate. You work til you drop and then play til you drop. He'll spend half of his month AWOL, and then come back and spend the other half awake at his table. I think that's how I'd be too, but I would personally get my work done FIRST!! He's single handedly giving me gray hair with these last minute deadlines! He's such a goofball too. He makes fun of me more than anyone at this studio, he knows just when I'm in a really bad mood and then goes comically overboard to make me laugh. He's just a clown that one. Really silly.
Randy Green
lives in North Carolina so I don't see him except for maybe twice a year at cons. He's a genuine, gentlemanly, southern boy though. Oh, he's a TALKER TOO! He loves to tell stories. If you don't have at least a half an hour to talk, that's a call you better not take! He's really sweet and very devoted to his family, which is such a wonderful trait. Great guy!
Marc Silvestri
I still get by him after three years! I stumble over my words for goodness sake! He's like 7 feet tall and he's practcally GOD of the comic world. Well, and he's my boss. But I think I'm not used to having people that much bigger than me so its kind of strange. I wear heels a lot so I'm over 6' and he STILL towers over me! He's a quiet guy as well, so you don't know what he's thinking a lot of the time. But he's definitely got an appreciation of how far he's come. It seems like every once in a while he himself is surprised by how cool he is. So I guess I'm trying to say that all of his success hasn't succeeded in making him a jerk in any way. He's funny as heck when he DOES speak, he really looks out for the individuals in his company, and he's just all around a great guy. Not to mention he's got crazy skills. You know, the closest thing I can think of is like that senior when you were a freshman that you thought was the coolest person in the world so you didn't dare bother them. That's how people look at him. But don't get him started with a microphone. Every Christmas at the Top Cow party he gives a speech...the foods cold by the time he's done...its a philibuster! He will NOT give up the floor. He has to say something about everyone. Its actually quite funny when he does it...anyone else and I think I'd personally strangle them with the cord!
David Wohl
is the guy that you just want to hug every time you see him. He's a GENIUS but he's also got the best sense of humor. So put the two together and you've got the quickest wit in the west. Plus he's just so cute! You want to pinch his cheeks. I always find myself in his office on his couch while he's working. He's got this stuffed frog that everyone hugs when they sit in there, so I hold that and wait for him to talk to me. I don't know, he has a way of making people feel really good. He's the resident counselor. You find yourself telling him stuff that you should never tell a SOUL!

Wow, I could go on and on forever...the people here are so different and everyone's got their own little niche just like in a family. I wouldn't have given up my acting and singing if I didn't find something that I loved as much!
