It is not necessary for you to go to a professional photographer to get pictures for the invitation. Just make sure the picture is clear, has nice contrast and features the person of interest. Make sure there is no clutter in the backround and subject is the center of attention. If the picture is taken too far away or the lighting is to dark, the invitations will not look their best. Be sure to take several pictures (atleast a dozen so you have many to choose from) with different positions. Outdoor pictures make for great lighting and good quality. Choose your favorite outfit to take the pictures in, don't worry about the color of the outfit, your invitation can be color coordinated with the colors in the outfit. Another fun idea for a personalized, unique photo invitation is to use props that are unique to the family or person. For people who are into racing, take a picture on a checkered flag material, or if your family plays or is into football, take a picture with your favorite teams apparal or memorabilia. Maybe you are an Army, Military, or Navy family, take pictures with our American flag or other patriotic props. Your options are endless and we can match the design and color scheme of your invitation itself to further add to the customization.  |
