| Feels Like Coming Home By Pavlov’s bell |
| Chapter 2 Another flashback. The morning after the accident. It had been an uneventful morning in the ER at county and god was Kerry bored. Images from the previous night’s events kept flashing through her mind, especially those deep, dark eyes she looked into last night. She could just image herself looking into them again. It seemed so real. “hiya doc” said the voice belonging to those dark eyes. Kerry was shocked out of her day dream, and found herself turning red after being confronted by the woman of her fantasy. “Hi, what can I do for you?” The fire fighter raised a hand showing a badly cut palm. “Ouch, follow me” As the pair stepped into the suture room, Kerry was also dizzy with nervousness. “So you got a name?” Asked Kerry hoping she didn’t sound as nervous as she felt. “of course” At this Kerry cocked an eyebrow quizzically “Its Sandy Lopez” “My name is…” “Kerry Weaver” “How the hell?!” “Its right there on your lab coat” Kerry blushed a bright shade of red. Seeing this Lopez laughed a deep throaty laugh “That cut looks painful”. Kerry empathized “how you do it?” “There was glass on the road; I landed on some where I pulled you down” “Oh god! I’m sorry” horrified at the thought that she was the cause of this pain. “How can I make it up to you?” “Dinner” “Dinner would be great” blushed Kerry. |
