"The ingredients of the wheel are simple - a universal desire
to see the earth and cities from a great height and the
natural human fascination with scale, daring structure and beauty"
~~ Julia Barfield, architect.

The London Eye is also known as the British Airways Millenium Wheel.
It's located close to the Houses of  Parliament by Westminster Bridge,
right on the Thames.
It has open boxes and moves slowly, one can
purchase a ride on it and see a fair bit of London, as it's so tall.
It's best to go on it on a clear day and it takes about half an hour
to go around.  It moves very slowly and is nothing like the Ferris
Wheels found at amusement parks.
