Broward County Parking Study:
Invitation for Public Comment
The public and all parking stakeholders (parking lot owners, parking managers and others) are invited to visit the web site established to solicit input from all users of parking in Broward County.  Visit www.creatingthefuture.org and click on PARKING STUDY.

This study is believed to be the first in Broward County to offer opportunities for preliminary and continuous public input via the Internet at
www.creatingthefuture.org.  Input can be sent via fax (954 565 8718  "PARKING"), or mailed to Parking Study, c/o The Center for Creating the Future, 201 SE 12 Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL  33316-1815.  There will be a moderated discussion list on the web page.

The Center for the Future, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that was established in January 2001 by Jack Latona, former City Commissioner of Fort Lauderdale and former chair of the Metropolitan Planning Organization. 

The parking study was initiated in June 2001.  The study is anticipated to be finished at the end of September 2001.
