Chicken McNuggets
Earlier this year (2004), McDonald's came out with a new chicken McNugget made with all white meat. I am no expert but the meat inside the Chicken Mcnugget has always looked white. So what kind of meat was it before? The new McNugget tasted the same as the old one and it looked the same neither of which looks like real chicken.
Now they have the Chicken Selects, which does look like chicken. Why do they need to have 2 different types of all white meat chicken?
Jello Pudding Pops
Years ago they stopped making Jello Pudding Pops. There was no warning, they just stopped selling them. I for one was very angry because my family and I loved them. I even searched the Internet but the only thing the official site told me was how to make my own pudding pops.
Well, to my surprise, I was in my local supermarket and I saw the Jello Pudding Pops for sale again! I purchased 2 boxes.
I am so disappointed.
First, it was a vaiety pack, which means even if I only like one flavor I am forced to eat the not-so-great flavors. Second, they are half the size they used to be! And for someone who loved them, they weren't that big to begin with. For those who do not know, they used to be slightly smaller than a fudgecicle. Now they are the size of half of a popcicle. I know this is the age of "I'm fat and its your fault" and the economy isn't what it used to be, but come on, why make a treat that just teases us? I wonder if Bill Cosby knows about this?
Wacky Wafers
Why don't they make Wacky Wafers anymore? I am a huge candy fan from long ago and I can't understand why some candies are still here (Necco Wafers) and others are not. I visited the Willy Wonka site and they have nothing to say about it. While I am on the subject, they make candy smaller too. DinoSour Eggs, Now-n-Laters, Everlasting Gobstoppers, etc...are all smaller. Who do they think they are fooling? How much are they saving by making them smaller? Its only sugar, artificial flavor and colors for crying out loud!
