Chapter 17 : Reassurance of Forever

“NOOOOOOO!” Faith shrieked while jolting upward. It was dark, her heart was racing. She felt Spike’s hand slide up her back to tangle in her hair as he sat up and pulled her into him.

“What’s wrong Luv? Are you okay?” He was worried. He knew she had nightmares; he’d listened to her sleep sometimes and could tell when she was having one by the increased speed of her pulse. He’d never heard one this bad. “Luv?” She was crying when he pulled her back down. He placed her head on his chest and pet her hair while she cried and wrapped her arms around him possessively. “Tell me Luv.”

“They killed you.” She whispered. “Right in front of me.” She sat up and looked at him, their eyes focused on each other in the dark. “Promise me you’ll never leave me Spike. I couldn’t take it if you left me.”

                “I won’t. I promise. It was just a dream. I’m right here.”

“It was so real Spike. It was so real.”

                “What happened?”

“The Council guys smashed the doors in. There were so many of them, I couldn’t stop them. They were holding me away from you. I couldn’t stop them. I couldn’t do anything but watch as you crumbled to dust.”

“That didn’t happen Bunny. I’m fine. I’m healing thanks to you. You saved me.”

She put her head back on his chest and he continued to rub her head and back with one hand, while the other interlocked fingers with hers. He loved the feel of her silky skin under his hand. He pulled the covers up around them and she clung to his body like she was drowning and he was the only life preserver. His hand continued caressing her back down to the creamy flesh just above her ass. His fingers glided over her body and around her waist to stroke her stomach. He gently massaged her breast. His gentle touch reassured her that it was just a dream and she kissed lightly sucked his nipple.

“Cor Luv, if you keep that up, we may be shagging in a few minutes.”

“That wouldn’t be a bad.” She said kissing his cool chest. Her hand slid down his body. Her fingers tangled in the brown curls at the base of his cock before stroking him. “So whaddya think? Feeling up to some shagging?”

“For you I think I’ll survive. I’m feeling much better Luv.”

“Will you make love to me Spike? It’s just that we don’t... we usually just... you know have *sex* but not *love* and I jus-”

He silenced her with a passionate yet sweet deep kiss that left her breathless. “You never need explain Faith.” He kissed her again, this time with more intensity while his hands slid down her lithe body and she gasped as his fingers gently slipped inside her pussy. His tongue laved her nipples and she keened under his ministrations. Her breathing growed more erratic and labored as she panted and whimpered, wriggling under his diving fingers.

He kissed his way down her supple body, spending extra time at her gorgeous navel, which he tickled a little causing her to giggle. She moaned as he reached the apex of her legs where his fingers were busy inside her grasping channel. He placed feather kisses on her engorged clit as she whimpered for more. Her back arched off the bed when his tongue slid into her tight passage and her breathing hitched as her first orgasm rippled through her entire being. He didn’t let that stop his enjoyment of her treasures as he drank deep of her honey.

When she gained her bearings from her first orgasm, another one tore through her body. Over and over he brought to climax with his tongue and cool fingers until she thought she’d pass out from the shear joy and ecstasy. “Spike...” she whimpered. “Spike... please... I need to feel you inside me. I want you to fill me. I need you to...” she begged.

He swept up her body and spread her legs further as he slid his cock inside her wet pussy ever so slowly. He slowly stroked in and out of her as she whimpered. He kissed her moaning mouth and licked the beaded sweat off her forehead. He watched her face, eyes closed, as she felt the love radiating from his body. He watched as she bit her bottom lip in pleasure as he slowly entered her tight body. Her arms roamed his back, shoulders and eventually closed around his head pulling him to her neck. He refused her offer as she pressed his mouth to her neck. He kissed her lightly as she whimpered and writhed underneath his weight.

                “Please... bite me.” She begged.

“I don’t love you because you give me blood.” He whispered in her ear.

“I know.” She whimpered. She opened her eyes and looked at him. “I like to feel your mouth and tongue on my neck. I like hearing you drinking my life. I like to feel you afterwards, just a little bit warmer. Please... please...”

He kissed her gently and licked his way down to her existing scar. He morphed and gently punctured her neck, lapping at the drops of blood. He released his seed bathing her pussy from the inside with his cool essence. She whimpered and he tasted the rush of hormones as she hit climax once more.

He pulled away, licking the wound closed. He started to roll off her, but she held him there. “Stay, please? I like feeling you on top of me, and inside me still.”

                “Anything you wish forever Luv.”

“Promise me you won’t go away.”

“I’ll *never* leave you Faith, not by choice.” He kissed her gently and buried his head between her neck and shoulder. The two soon fell asleep.

*************

She was surrounded by dark. It was cold and damp. Her eyes slowly grew accustom to the darkness and she looked around. There were no windows. She remembered being dragged out of bed in the middle of the night. She’d heard his screaming as they took her away. She ached for him. She was hungry. The door was locked, she tugged on it and slammed into it, but her body was weak. She looked out between the three bars. She could see a candle that was not lit directly in front of the door. Where was she?

She sunk to the floor at the far side of the room, away from the door. She pulled her knees and hugged them, trying to keep the heat close to her slowly freezing body. The dress was warm enough, but the room was so chilling. She felt death, all around; she could almost smell it surrounding her, choking her. She ached for him. She tried calling him, closing her eyes tight, picturing him like she had so many times previous, but it was to no avail. She was completely shut off from anything that could save her.

Chapter 18 : Revelations

She sat against the wall, waiting for something that was most likely not good, and rather dangerous. She was ready. She was a slayer, *the* Slayer. She longed for him, her love, her life. They’d grabbed her arms and legs so she couldn’t fight back. They’d covered her eyes so she didn’t know where they were or who they were. They’d locked her in the dark room, so she didn’t know where she was, or for how long she’d been there, or what time it was.

Why had they taken her? Who was coming? Why couldn’t she be with him? Was he okay? What would happen to him? Why was she being punished for what was not in her control? She heard footsteps. She wanted to know why they’d taken her. She stood up, ready to fight, ready to leave, ready to go find him. The door slowly opened and a figure entered the room.

“Hello Slayer.” She froze as he stepped closer and she saw his face. “I can see you are speechless, a fine quality in a slayer.” She tried to speak, but she couldn’t. “I hope you do not find the accommodations too unhomely. You will learn to love it here.” She shook her head, unable to move. She silently willed her body to react to the danger, but it was if she were frozen. “Do not fret my child, soon you will not fear the night.” He turned and left the room and she heard the door locked behind him.

She wasn’t sure how long had passed but she grew hungry. She tried to connect with him every second, to find out if he was well, or alive. She couldn’t find him. It scared her more than being locked up did. Why had they betrayed her? What had happened? She longed for the days sitting next to Mother in the kitchen. She closed her eyes and took herself back to the heat of the cauldron over the fire cooking the soup of the day. They had ruined that. They had taken her life from her. They had convinced Mother that being away was safest. They had ripped her from Mother and her home, and turned into a machine, a killer, one destined to fight the forces of darkness. She didn’t want to fight; she wanted to be with him.

She grew hungry, so hungry, it must have been at least two days and two nights. She was weak, she could feel it. She heard the footsteps and did not have the energy to stand up, let alone fight. “So, dear Slayer, how do you feel?”

“Weak.” She whispered, shocked to hear her own voice so meek.

“Ah yes, you haven’t fed, but in a few days, it won’t be food you crave.” He drew closer and she tried to active her other senses, but she couldn’t, she was too weak. He crouched down next to her and ripped the dress off. “Such beauty for one so young and unpure.” His cool fingers caressed her breasts and he pushed her back to the ground. “Have you ever tasted a man child?” She watched in horror as he rid himself of his clothes. He straddled her face and her mouth still filled with his cool manhood. He thrust into her mouth and she choked but he didn’t stop. She whimpered and tried to push him away, but she was helpless.

She was crying and he hit her any time she cried or tried to stop him. Time seemed to slow and it took forever for the rush. She choked on his liquid and he laughed as she tried to sit up. “I’m not through with you.” He pushed her harshly back on the ground. “You are mine now Slayer.” He entered her with one swift thrust and she screamed, but no sound came out. She cried as he pounded into her body and he growled, surely enjoying her pain. They’d met before.

“MINE!” He growled before exploding inside her unwilling body. He buried his fangs in her neck and she grew weak. She felt her body giving out, gasping for breath that was not hers to have, and when she was offered a drink, she was so thirsty she drank all she could.

*Thump thump thump thump* She opened her eyes, she was hungry. She sat up and her eyes picked apart her surroundings. The same room, but there was someone in the room. She ran her tongue over her razor sharp teeth. She slowly stood up and walked over to the girl. She smelled the fear in the room, intoxicating. The girl screamed but a little as she thrashed around on her way to death. The body fell to the ground.

“What have I done?” She fell to the ground shaking violently as her body punished her. She tried to rip her hair out, rip her skin off, do something to make the pain of what happened stop. She was a vampire, a killer, one she’d been trained to despise.

*************

Her eyes flew open and she tried to get up, but couldn’t. Someone was on top of her and she violently fought to get out from underneath the weight. She jumped out of bed and landed on her feet. She shivered as the cool air hit her naked flesh. Her eyes adjusted to the dark around her, but she could see the beginnings of the morning sun peaking out from behind the curtains. It was almost dawn.

“Luv?” Her heart was racing, he could hear it, it scared him. He’d never heard one so fast. Her heartbeat echoed throughout the room, throughout the silence. He sat up and turned the light on, although he didn’t need it. She was sweating and shaking and almost in tears. “Faith?”

She started crying. She couldn’t remember being that scared ever before. Spike stood up and gathered her in his arms and set her on the bed. “It was so real.” She sobbed into his chest. “God it was so real. I wasn’t gonna see him again. I thought they had me, but they didn’t.”

“What are you talking about Luv? Who weren’t you going to see again?”

                “My son.”
