| Yay! Tank! *clears throat* Ahem. Sorry. Tank is the operator aboard Morpheus's hovercraft, the Nebuchadnezzar. He has an older brother aboard the ship as well, named Dozer, who is the pilot of the ship. Also, Tank and Dozer have a sister, Zee, who lives back in Zion. The three of them are "one hundred percent pure, old fashioned, home grown humans, born free right here, in the real world. Genuine child(ren) of Zion". Also included in Tank's family are his sister-in-law, Cas (Dozer's wife), and his neice and nephew, who's names I don't know yet... |
| Tank is the person who "taught" Neo how to fight in the beginning stages of him being on the Neb, as well as gets them in and out of the Matrix, and downloads info into them, such as when Trinity wanted to learn how to fly that helicopter in the first movie.When Cypher betrayed them and shot the two 'natural' humans with the plasma rifle and hits Tank in the side, Tank doesn't die and ends up killing Cypher. Unfortunately, he doen't recover to kill the bastard until after he's killed Switch, Apoc, and - sadly - Tank's older brother Dozer... The injuries he received from the plasma rifle don't make him die then, but he did die sometime before Reloaded, probably because of those injuries, because Zee said she'd lost two brothers to that ship. We all lament the loss of poor Tank and the others aboard the Neb who died as a result of Cypher's betrayal... well... at least I do. |
| Me: Tank was an awesome character, one of my favorite in the original Matrix... but then again, I loved basically all the good characters from all the movies, so that reall doesn't say much. Kassi: Yeah! Right on b'y!! He's Funkeh!! And.... I dunno.... he's funny! Me: *laughs* One of my ultimate favorite lines of Tank is: Hey Mikey, I think he likes it! Of course, that quote comes from when Neo is going through combat training. Awesome. |
