Plot: Based on the best selling Charles Frazier novel, Cold Mountian tells the story of two lovers torn away from each other because of the United States Civil War. Inman ( Law) is a wounded confederate soilder on a journy back to Cold Mountain to reunit with his love Ada (Kidman). In his absence Ada struggles to survive until one day a young drifter Ruby (Zellweger) offers her assistance.

Plot: Set in New York City in 1963, the story follows two writers. Catcher Block (McGregor) a womanzing journalist, and Barbra Novack (Zellweger) a feminist advice author. When a Romance between the two starts, Barbra finds herself contradicting her own rules for love.

While in Jail she meets her idol jazz singer Velma Kelly (Zeta- Jones) . Roxie soon retains the services of Billy Flynn (Gere) the same lawyer as Velma. With the help of Billy the two women are competeting for headlines while they try for a innocent verdict.
