Here is some information about me:

I have been a blonde for as long as I can remember.  I was thinking it was time for a change.  Boy did I go to extremes, but I like it.

For the first 19yrs of my life, I lived in Ronkonkoma NY.  I graduated from Connetquot school in 1985...seems so long ago now. I still keep in contact with a few of my high school friends.  I had my daughter Michael-Ann in 1986.  I moved to the Adirondacks in 1987,  when my family decided to buy a house.  They wanted to get out of the fast pace of the Long Island.  My parents grew up in Northern NY.

My parents tried to make a go of their relationship, but  in 1999  they separated and are now divorced.  They have both  moved on with their lives.  My father Marty lives with his new wife Arlene a few towns away from me.  My mother Tina relocated to Maryland where she is very happy living with her boyfriend Buddy.  I have a  sister Terri who is married to a wonderful man Joe.  They have two boys Joshua and Tyler.

I got  married to my husband Cory in Feb. 1993.  I love him very much.  We have been through a lot together.  We had our daughter Korilynn that October.  She was my birthday present you could say.  My girls are growing up too fast for me.

For the last 17 years since I left Long Island I was very unsettled.  I couldn't accept the differences from the Island to here.  I kept telling my self the grass was greener on the other side.  ( I hate the cliché now) Even though every time I moved somewhere I always came back.  Unfortunately I have  moved over 30 times.  Most of the places in the Adirondacks but some either other parts of the state and  other states all together.  Never seemed to be happy where I lived.  The last time I moved away was last year and it really changed my view on life.  Now I am back in the Adirondacks to stay.  Grant it; I have to deal with the long winters here , but that is a small price to pay for the quality of life I am giving my girls here.

As you can I tell I love lightning.  Well actually just love thunderstorms.    If there is a storm near by, I try to get to the best place to watch it.  I drive my family crazy  when storm season comes around.  As soon as I hear the thunder, I am up looking out the windows to get the best view.  It doesn't matter what time it is! LOL  I don't live in an area that has a lot of them though.  I take what I can get LOL   My  favorite cable station is the Weather Channel.

I am back working at an animal hospital, and loving it.  It is so nice to be around the animals again.  I had not worked at a hospital in over a year.  Didn't realize how much I missed it until just now.  I have loved animals all my life.  We always had at least 2 dogs, when I was growing up.   I would bring home stray dogs all the time.  My mother had told me, "If  I found an elephant loose in the neighborhood, I would have brought that home too."  Right now we have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a cockatiel.  We have  added 2 iguanas  to our family now,  Frankie came to us in February 2003  and  Evan I rescued in July 2003.  I have been doing a lot of research on them.  Most of the information I have gotten has been from over the internet and from books.   I am always trying to make sure I am giving them the proper care that they deserve.

I love taking pictures of scenery and animals.  There are pictures of the local scenery. the high waters during the spring thaw,  and of my pets.   I will add more photos as I develop them.

Here is an update for anyone that reads this.  I have gotten a new tattoo on 2/27/04.  I am loving it.  I can tell you this ...IT HURT!!!!

So there it is !  It is going to take about 2 weeks for it to heal.  I am hoping those two weeks go very fast.
