Jer18:1-17;Rom12:1,2;Pro15:5;12:1;23:12-25;13:1,2;2 Tim 3:16 Jeremiah was instructed to go to the Potter's house to learn a lesson from the Lord.Wheels, were 2 circular stones connected by a vertical shaft, so the Potter could sit at a wheel, spinning the lower stone with his feet and causing the upper wheel to rotate, this enabled both hands to be free to in order to work on the clay.
If the vessel became marred or had an imperfection the potter didn't discard the clay, but simply remold it into another vessel.In this story the house of Israel is the clay in the potter's hand. They had a choice to either turn from their evil ways or return to the Lord. God wanted to remold them because of their ways, imperfections. In other words our choices will determine what we go through. We each have a choice to make to serve God or not, to be obedient to his plans for our lifes or not. Israels molding came in their being exiled. God's own had forsaken him....but he didn't just throw them a way, he set out to reshape them. They didn't have a repentive heart, which is why they wanted to smite Jeremiah. The bible tells us a wise man excepts instruction. God is our Father and he is gonna chastise us, when we step the wrong way...what we do with that chastening is up to us. We have test and trials to mold and shape us more into the image of Jesus Christ.
The people of Israel didn't want to take heed to what Jeremiah was telling them...it was from the Lord. It hurts sometimes to be chastised, but that is part of growing and learning.... The bible tells us a fool despiseth his Fatehr's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. God's instruction is better then silver, his knowledge better then gold. God wants us to give him our all....everything! Not just bits and pieces, all of you. Your finances, your family, your thoughts, your past, present and future....ALL!!! The Lord is that Potter and we are the clay. We have to be willing to give him our all, so he can shape us into the vessel we need to be to give him glory, the vessel to speak for him, and be his hands.....In 2006 it is time to truly give God your all!! Have you truly gave him everything?
Rev 3:13-16 Are you listening? Are you hearing what God is saying? We must listen with our spiritual ears, with our heart and soul. If you are a lukewarm (tepid) christian then you are God's vomit! Spue/spew means vomit. I don't know about you,but I don't want to be his vomit.If your cold your satans.WE must be HOT (boiled, fervent) for God. Lukewarmers are those straddling the fence, those who say their a christian, but the way they live says different.They come to church on sundays sometimes on wednesday, but outside of church they do anything, but represent Christ. It's also those who coem to church everytime the door is open, they go thru the motions, they don't live bad lives, but they don't have a relationship with God. It is also those who are servin God, but God has called them in a certain area and they are running from it...their working for him but not where he called them to work. It is time to get HOT for God. It is time to be obedient in all our ways. We should be excited about the things of God We should be on ready when it comes to our Fathers work.How do you get hot for God? Repent! Get in his presence, Love on him continuously. As often as you can..get in his word..get into him.When your young and dating everytime you think about that person your heart takes a leap...that is how we should be about Jesus...we are his bride..we are courting him! We should get excited about his presence, about worship, about his word. Write him little love notes..that is what psalms is.Have you ever blew him a kiss? He should be the LOVE of your life. Is he? verse 17 If you don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ, you can have all the riches in the world and stil be poor. You are lacking without him.Jesus is our covering so without him your naked. He is the house we should abide in. He is our eyes, so without him we are blind. He is our strength our purpose. Are you lacking? Is something missing in your life? Get Jesus!! The real deal, don't play! verse 18 The word tried here means refine, allow Jesus to cahnge who you are and make you into his image. You have to be willing to be tested and tried, allow God to purify you, to clothe you. You have to allow him to take away the old man. Must die to live. Crucify the flesh God's waysare not our ways.REV 3: 19 As many as I love,, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. If you are truly his, he is gonna correct you as a Father. If God hasn't been correcting you, or chastening you... Are you truly HIS? Chasten means to train up a child We must be zealous (earnestly, desire, have warm feeling) to repent and make it right with him.REV 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and sup with him and he with me. He is knocking on each of our hearts door. Only you can open the door for him. He wants so bad to come in and sup with you. He wants you to be his bride. REv 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. Do you have an ear? Spiritual ear. Listen the Spirit is talking to the church. (The whole body of Christ) Come, Come, COME!!!!!!! God wants us to be real with him. There are seven churches in Revelation and he gives them sorta like report cards. What would your report card be? Are you lukewarm? Are you HOT for God? What would be on your report? Would he say you've left your first love? God loves you and he doesn't want anyone to perish. Now is the time to quit playing get REAL. Get in his precense........
God is calling his children into a closer walk with him. We need to spend more and more time in our prayer closets, in God's precense as the last days draw closer and closer. Draw nigh to God and he will draw nigh to you. When you spend time with the Lord he will show you each step you need to take and he will show you the stradegies of the enemy, satan. Put your armor on. Wear it day and night. Satan will send foxes to try and take your fruit and spoil the vine. Stay prayed up and on your knees, and in the word. It's time to get busy for the Lord and the Kingdom of heaven... Their are many, way to many lost and dying people going to hell. We will all have eternal life, question is where will you spend it? With God in Heaven or with satan in hell, dying continually forever? God doesn't want anyone to perish, he loves everyone, but he is true to his word, and it is ultimately your choice. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. 9James 4:8)
Matt 24:4-8 And Jesus answered and said unto them "Take heed, that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. All these are the beginnings of sorrows. Sorrows is here. Watch and wait, redemption draweth nigh. Jesus second coming is closer then you think.....

REMEMBER WHO GOD IS AND WHAT HE HAS ALREADY DONE IN THE PAST. TRUST IN HIM AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON HIM. WAIT ON HIM TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DO NEXT. REMEMBER THE BATTLE BELONGS TO GOD, STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD. PRAISE HIM BEFORE THE BATTLE, DURING THE BATTLE, AND AFTER THE BATTLE. A VALLEY CAN BECOME A PLACE OF BLESSING IF WE LEARN HOW TO PRAISE THE LORD! PRAYER CHANGES THINGS! PRAISE CHANGES THINGS! TRUE PRAISE INVOLVES FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE, THE STRONGEST WEAPONS IN THE CHRISTIAN ARMORY. ACTS 16:25,26 PS 42:8 EPH 5:19
