| Projects for Christmas 2000 included 'Racing Team' emblems for the grandsons, sewn on hats, vests and shirts. Also some accents on some towels for a few people. Pictures to be posted as soon as I get them developed, I sure need a digital with a flash. |
| The last few years my painting has been more off than on, but I have every intention of 'painting Colorado' one summer, maybe this one. In the meantime I am collecting lots of photos and postcards for painting when I get old or the time and place to paint. |
| I enjoy reading mysteries, however, time is short for me with all the technical manuels that I have to read and study. I keep a "junk book" going as a bedtime story. iIt helps me to relax and go to sleep - unless it is a really good book or I am in a good place in the book. |

| QUILTING |
| I have always dabbled in quilt blocks, doing a few and then taking them to Momma to finish or pass on, when she passed away 5 years ago, I had to start finishing the projects myself. So last summer, I finished my first quilt from start to finish on my own. Even did the quilting myself. I have posted photos of 'the cat quilt'. Use the link below to see it. I never realized how addictive quilting could be now I have several projects in different stages going on at all times. |

| WRITING |
| I have always written some, having published a poetry book in the 80's. Now I write when the feeling hits me and struggle the rest of the time. Since I no longer expect myself to write, it seems that I forget to set aside time to do so. Like any other hobbie, one has to make time for it. For a sample of my poetry use the link. |
