| Appearance: Layered shoulder-length hair with natural black and brown highlights. Kind looking face. Small but strong. Personality: Extroverted, (outgoing. . .), sarcastic, kind unless in situations where she or someone else, (ship, friend, child. . .ect.), is in trouble. Strengths ad Weeknesses: Teri's love for her family and friends can be looked upon as either a strength or a weakness. Her duty is to her subordinates, the ship, and the people they come in contact with can be looked upon in the same fashion. Ambitions: As of right now, Teri's main ambitoins is to learn as much about the unknown as possible and to do her best to defend her crewmates, and the ship. In the future, she'd like to have a family. She doesn't really want to become an Admiral when she's older and sit at a desk or teach classes, and as of the moment retirment doesn't sound so good either. But who's thinking that far ahead? She attended the best. . .and the few. . .schools on the planet, keeping head in anything math, language, or science orientated. When Teri was seven her parents had another daughter. Teri tried to help take care of her baby sister as much as she could. Both her parens long hours trying to keep the government from collapsing. As Teri grew she was very interested in reading, writing, art, self-defense, and music. At the age of fourteen she was sent to live with her grandmother in Olney, Illinois on Earth. While there, she took classes from a Japanese Martial Arts teacher who lived down the road. after graduating from highschool in the area, Teri spent two years at a college in Italy working on a degree in science. She then proceeded to attend Starfleet Academy, where she graduated with her main areas being Security and Tactical. She threw herself into her school work and continued working on martial arts and some other defenses. Teri spent the summer back on Rutia IV and then took a postion as a tactical officer aboard the starship Starshy The Starshy's main missions were along the Neutral Zone back during the Dominion war. Starshy was only a back up ship for the war. She went from being Ensign, to Lieutenant at junior grade level, and the chief tactical officer on the same ship. At the age of twenty-two, Teri transfered to the USS Sparrow, where she served as the chief tactical/security officer. The ship was soon sent to the frontlines of the diminishing war. She watched her new friends die as the ship was borded in one of the last missions, by the Dominion. With the help of Starshy's new crew boarding the ship, and ridding them of the Dominion, the Sparrow was pulled back together. While on the Sparrow, Teri rose from Lieutenant Junior Grade to Lieutenant. She was transferred to the USS Saphire at the age of twenty five, where she was the second officer and the chief tactical/security officer. At the age of twenty seven, Teri transferred once again to the USS Sabata as the executive officer. The Sabata had been a relief ship, so even though it was a step up in position, it still seemed like a step down to Teri. She still worked her hardest at her job by doing the best she could. She got to know the crew well and was there for them even when disaster finally hit. When Teri was twenty nine, the Sabata had a mission to Bajor. While in orbit of the planet, the Sabata was attacked by three Jem'Hadar ships that had been in hiding and out of the loop as to what had been going on. THey shreaded all sorts of sections of the ship and then just when they thought they'd been left for dead, three Dominion officers beamed aboard the bridge, took several officers hostage, including Ter, and took them to the planet, using them as bait after murdering half the crew including the captain. Finally Teri saw her chance to turn the tables. The Dominion officer, after three days of waiting for some one to try to escape, they began to argue and fight over Teri and another woman. Once of the fights became extremely violent and only one survived the massive phaser fight. In the midst of that, Teri had hidden the fact that she'd figured out how to get her restraints off. They were primitive, three others had figured it out as well. In the cover of the phaser blasts the four had gone and retreived their own weapons and in the end managed to escape. A rescue team had already been sent to locate the prisoners, and after taking the few Domuinion memebers from the Jem'Hadar ships above, they'd gone in seach of the hostages. Once Teri had gotten a hold of her communicator once again, she was able to contact the Sabata and tell the rescue team where to find them. The Sabata had enough lef in her that repairs could be made and the crew could return to the ship. After being promoted to Lieutenant Commander, Teri was offered the command postion of the Sabata. With the horrible memories and lack of old close friends, Teri declined and requested a command position elsewhere. It is populated by the Rutians, a technologicaly advanced, unalighted, humanoid species. The Lumar Cafe is a restaurant on the northern continent. Since 2296, the inhabitants of this planet have been split into two groups: The Rutians and the Ansata. Rutia IV never really had one planetary goverment up untill 2375. It took much work, but the Rutian Planetary Government was finally set up in late 2375. The government is much like that of 21st century Northern America's. It includes the same offices, and many of the departments. |
