| The Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) below governs participation in any Contest by you on this website. |
A. OverviewContests on this Website are Run/will be Run on a monthly-result basis (unless specified otherwise). We reserve the right to alter/withdraw the Contest without giving any reasons. Winners of our Contest(s) will be informed individually through email. Names of winners may also be posted on the website. In case the email ID provided to us is not in use, the Contestant may not be able to claim the prize/reward/gift.Contest Entries submitted to us become solely our property and we may use it for commercial purposes. Entries may be displayed on the Website pages and may or may not include the name of the Contestant. Contests are open to individuals around the world (except our employees and their relatives), however, if delivery of prize/reward/gift involves postage/courier/handling charges, we will only bear costs upto $5.00 or 51%, whichever is lesser. In order to operate the Contests on the Compatibility Prediction ("We" or "Us") service and to reduce the risk of fraud, we must ask you to provide us information about yourself. This T&Cs document describes/elaborates the Contest Rules and information we collect and how we use that information. The information submitted by you while participating in Contests will be used only in accordance with the terms of this Document. We will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information or a list of our customers to third parties. However, as described in more detail in Part C below, there are limited circumstances in which some of your information will be shared with third parties, under strict restrictions, so it is important for you to review the T&Cs. By using or continuing to use our website's services and/or participating in Contests, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personal information in the manner described in the Privacy Policy and T&Cs here. These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) will take effect on January 1, 2007. The T&Cs were last updated on January 25, 2007. Please note that your personal/contest information will/may be stored and processed on our computers in the United States. The laws on holding personal data in United States may be more or less stringent than the laws of your country but we will hold and transmit your personal information in a safe, confidential and secure environment. If you object to your personal information being transferred or used as described in this document or under Privacy Policy, please do not use this service and close the browser window immediately. Notification of Changes The T&Cs may be revised over time as new features are added to our service or as we incorporate suggestions from our customers. A Special Note About Children. Information We CollectWeb Site Traffic InformationBecause of the way that World Wide Web communication standards work, when you arrive at or leave the website, we automatically receive the Web address of the site that you came from or are going to. We also collect information on which pages of our Web site you visit while you are on the website, the type of browser you use and the times you access our website. We use this information only to try to understand our customers' preferences better and to manage the load on our servers, so as to improve our service and your experience with us. We do not track the websites that you visit before or after you leave our site. Our Use of "Cookies" "Cookies" are small files of data that reside on your computer and allow us to recognize you. Currently we do not use this method of user identification. Customer Service Correspondence If you send us correspondence, including e-mails and faxes, we retain such information in the records of your account. We will also retain customer service correspondence and other correspondence from us to you. We retain these records in order to measure and improve our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our User Agreement. We may, over time, delete these records if permitted by law. Questionnaires, Surveys and Profile Data From time to time, we offer optional questionnaires and surveys to our users for such purposes as collecting demographic information or assessing users' interests and needs. The use of the information collected will be explained in detail in the survey itself. If we collect personally identifiable information from our users in these questionnaires and surveys, the users will be given notice of how the information will be used prior to their participation in the survey or questionnaire. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C. Our Use and Disclosure of InformationInternal UsesWe collect, store and process your personal information on servers located in the United States. We use the information we collect about you in order 1) to provide our services, 2) to provide customer service, 3) to determine your eligibility to receive offers for special features or products, and 4) to improve our products and services. We give access to individually identifiable information about our users only to those employees who require it to fulfill customer service requests.
