WEI KREUZ

This story tell us of the nasty part of Japan, (that one which us foreigners can't see because we're too amazed visiting temples... ^^;) where the high people commit crimes, and because of their status, they cannot be pursued by the normal police and thus, escaping free. Or at least that was until a secret organization called 'Kritiker' formed an assassin group specialized on persecuting those can of people and giving them their just punishment. These group is formed by four young (cute!) males, together, they are Wei, the white hunters.
This anime basically took me from being a normal 'anime-fan' to a 'anime-groupie' so to speak. I made a page dedicated to this anime, I made fanart, I began learning Japanese, I started singing in Japanese, *sighs* I even cut my hair like Aya (which didn't work) and like Yohji (which sort of worked but I'm female and I'm 1.60 so it didn't have the same effect anyway...) but then Gluhen came and *shudders* the desing, the characters, the story! All of it was gone! No matter what people tell me Gluhen is a sad story of only 13 chapters and Side B is well, an entirely different anime!

I'm not hosting fanfiction here, but I have read some and I think thye are good, so you should go Here

FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST

After glhen and Side B I stopped having much contact with anime until thsi guy at my school began talking to me about PS games, turn out there are not as many PS female players as I thought, and he really was into Final Fantasy RPG's (ppl who know me KNOW I hate RPG's it's just not my sort of thing...) and just to make him happy with blatant conversation of who was cooler 'Squall' or 'Zephiroth' I began reading player magazines, coincidentally by the time the Full Metal game in PS came out, I discovered there was an anime of that game, and then I got all the manga for free which totally bought me. since then I began freaking ppl out with random conversations about how cool FMA was. Sadly the end was something I found a bit pressured, I think the writers had a lot of things to conclude in only half an hour.

I'm not hosting those ones, but I have read them and I think thye are good, so you should go Here

WOLF'S RAIN

Wol'fs rain is more or less quite new, it was created by BONES, which was famous for its work in Cowboy Bepop, the character design is similar and the animation is most of the time great, considering they tend to use digital animation. This would have been my fav series if it werent for the fact that I cannot get hold of the last two episodes, (I really hate all those "ending exclusively in DVD" animes).
The story tell us of a world in which humans try to find a way to paradise, sadly, legends tell that only the wolves will find that path to paradise, and no one have seen a wolf for the past 200 years. Unknown to them, these creatures can change their appearance, and disguise as humans...

INUYASHA

Since I finished most of my essays and other work late at night, I had no other thing to watch but the late night animes, its fun, except for the fact that I'm too tired to really understand it... that is, until a cute hanyou jumped in scene. he has all the requisites for a perfect bishounen: long white hair, golden eyes, PUPPY EARS! And a cute voice, plus a nice red outfit. I believe he was designed with the purpose of being lovable. *sighs* I think I'm in love.
...I might even call my first son 'Inuyasha' even if he doesn't look at all like him just to get a smile out of me everyday... ^_~!
(and have I mentioned Inuyasha has a HOT brother called Seshomaru)

I'm not hosting fics here (too little space ^^;), but I have read them and I think some are good, so you should go here, adn chek if you like them too...

NARUTO

There's no nice way to explain it, so I'll just say it: I HATED Naruto. I couldn't understand what was the point of the wtory, because whenever someone tried to explain it to me, I got so confused I wuickly lost track of what they were saying.

then one day, I had nothing left to watch/read/draw and the only thing worth watching was cartoon network, and Naruto was on some kidn of marathon.

I didnt' think much of this anime, when I bought a Shohen Jump I merely read Yi-Gi-Oh and Hikaru no Go, so I think I left many opportunities (like getting my own head band) pass *sighs* oh well...

LEGEND OF ZELDA

It startled me to find out Im the only woman in my whole faculty who likes videogames, or at least the only one who is willing to pay good money on buying new consoles. I have no idea why, If they could only take a good look at Link Im sure many of them would change their opinions (Im pretty sure thats why Nintendo decided to change the age and height of Link) Link, the Hero (see? no pants!)

Now to those beginners let me tell you a little bit about the game: the Legend of Zelda is Nintendos second creation (after Mario) and the story is about a young buy of humble origin that suddenly has to take sword in hand and save the land from dark forces. During his travels he has to solve puzzles, clear dungeons, collect bizarre items, defeat the EVIL GUY, dazzle a couple of girls here and there, and save Princess Zelda (the damsel in distress of the series). You may have seem some pictures of him before, he has long hears, a strange nose, usually wears a green tunic that matches a green dwarven-like hat, and wears no pants.

The reason why I like this story is that I love epic tales, and this is like the acheotype of them. Ive actually used The Legend of Zelda dozens of times as an example to argue the basic structures of a story (like the sun cycle) and why Link is the perfect example for the idealistic image of a hero.
