That was his 15 minutes of fame on that show, though, nothing else followed, not even an interview! How disappointing. Hopefully he'll get more TV spots in the future. I know it's a few days late, but on June 13th Stephen sent out an e-mail informing fans of an upcoming performance for NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly. For more information regarding that, check out the news section.
Also, Comedy Central will be re-airing Stephen's special on July 6 at 3AM (all times). A clip of his special will also play on Comic Remix on both June 27 and 28th, at 10:30PM and 7:30PM (all times), respectively. Be sure to catch him if you haven't already.
And finally, I apologize for my lack of upkeep with the site lately. I've been fairly busy with proms, final exams, and my upcoming graduation this week and all and haven't gotten around to updating this site. I promise you that after this week I will get better at that..and that's all for now.

If there is one thing I hate, it's when people overdramatize things and turn something small into a huge event. Such is the case with the entire "Kill A Kitten" incident. Things have flared up again, and apparently there was a protest outside of one of Stephen's performances this past April. Here's a little recap of how that went down. I'll also link Stephen's apology to those offended once again, which, honestly, I don't think is necessary; an artist - especially not a comedian - should not be subjected to feeling as though s/he is obligated to apologize for his/her material, especially not in the event that listeners don't pick up on the satirical aspects of it. ...And that was my rant for today. Moving on...
On May 2 Stephen performed on XM Radio's Comedy Channel 150. You can hear a clip from it, Stephen performing "She Gotta Smile" here. Also, it appears that a fan has added Stephen's picture to hotornot.com. His current rating is a 9.8. Vote for him by clicking here.

I don't know if you are still looking for info on this but I just got back from a Stephen Lynch concert at the State Theatre in portland and at the end while he was plugging his stuff he mentioned a DVD that was coming out in the next couple of months. I think he said a specific month but since I wasn't listening for that I didn't pay attention. Sorry. This is all I have to say but thanks!

A few tidbits to update with:
- This site is now linked directly from StephenLynch.com. How cool is that? Very. Thanks to Matthew, who is credited with the design and maintenance of Stephen's site. Very cool.
- Superhero is now available on vinyl. Yes, being the dork that I am, I ordered a copy and received it today. Why, I have no idea.. I have nothing to play it on, but I figured, why the hell not. It's available for ordering at WhatAreRecords.com.
- Apparently the whole controversy over "Kill A Kitten" has flared up again, and Stephen has once again made available for your reading pleasure his official statement concerning the song and the altercation that ensued after it was released.
- Comedy Central Presents: Stephen Lynch will be re-aired on Friday, April 18th, and Saturday, April 19th. Check your local TV listings or ComedyCentral.com for program times.
As far as what's new on the website...well, there is nothing new on the website. So I guess that's all for now...

Hey guys! It's been brought to my attention once again that NONE of the graphics on this site are being displayed. And once again I apologize for that. nofx.com, the server that hosts the graphics for this site, has been nothing but unreliable for the past few months, and I have been searching for a new place to host the graphics (a free server, because remember, I'm seventeen and have an almost non-existant part time job...I definitely can't afford to pay somewhere to host the pictures for me!). If anyone knows of any free servers that are reliable that will host the graphics, please let me know! I promise I'll love you forever.

Hey guys. I know I've been really bad lately when it comes to updating this site. This update is the first one in over a month. Sorry about that. BUT I've finally gotten around to getting things caught up. Stephen's current tour itinerary is now posted, and the two latest updates from his mailing list. I also updated the poll, because the same one has been up there since...October? I told you I've been terrible at keeping things updated..
Also, if anyone has been living under a rock, Stephen ranked #1 in Comedy Central's Stand-Up Showdown, where he started off at from Day 1. Dane Cook fans tried to out-vote Stephen's fans, and for a little while Cook was in first, but lo and behold, Stephen regained his rightful place. Yea baby! Only goes to show that NO ONE messes with us Lynch fans.. ;-)

Here's a little show review from me...I was at Stephen's show on October 20th, at The Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ. Let me tell you - it was off the hook. I can't even begin to describe how awesome it was. And you thought the CD, the Comedy Central special, and radio performances were good? Ha. You have no idea..you haven't experienced the full effect of Stephen Lynch until you've been to a live show. That's all I have to say about that without getting all teenybopperish on you. - Yesterday Stephen sent an e-mail update out, so that's up. It's posted a day late, but that's ok. The update is mainly regarding the release of Superhero. I received my pre-ordered copy of the album in the mail yesterday, and let me tell you, it rocks the house like you wouldn't believe. The good thing about it is that since it's a live recording, it's ten times more hilarious and having the music captured live definitely brings the personality and energy to the CD. You'll laugh your asses off not only at the songs themselves, but at the witty remarks that are made in between songs by both Stephen and audience members. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Just Avoiding Karma underwent some serious spiritual cleansing today. Well, no, not really, that just sounded like a good, intelligent statement. But seriously, I've been messing around and trying to clean up some of the stuff on this site. I've done alot of renovations, changing the layout every other day [I'm settling with this one for now] and picking at some of the information and other ramblings that are on here.
- Today I found a whole slew of pictures of Stephen! Simply orgasmic. 52 brand spankin' new pictures are up & available for your viewing pleasure.
