"That was great Britney, I think that song might end up on your next album." I heard the producer say after Britney finished her songs.
Britney is different whenever she is working, she is so into it, it is like she is in another world where only good things can happen. When she finishes a song, she is just somehow different, a little sad.
"Great job Britney. Why don�t you go home and get some rest, you have a long day tomorrow." I said as she comes out of the recording booth.
"Okay," She said with a smile, then left the studio.
Britney�s POV
I have been running away from everything since I left the Compound two years ago. My career is the only thing that I can make sense of. Reg is still my boyfriend, but sometimes I really don�t think I love him. He is not very supportive of what I do, even after I became well known around the world.
"Sorry." I said as I walked into someone by accident.
"Sorry," I heard him say. I can�t believe the voice I am hearing.
"Britney?" he was shocked, I can it in his voice.
"Hi," I said looking at him for the first time in a long while.
"Hi," He said smiling at me. His blue eyes are so deep, I can always get lost in them. "How have you been?"
"I have been busy." I try to find to something to say, but my mind just went blank.
"I heard, see I always knew you would make it." That just made blush. Both of us are trying to find something to say to one another, but this situation is just too awkward.
"Britney, are you going to meet with someone right now?" He finally broke to silence.
"No, I was just going home."
"Listen, if you are not in a hurry, why don�t come to the Compound for a little while, the guys would love to see you." I know that he meant every word, but I am just not sure if the guys still want to see me after what happened the last time.
"I don�t know Justin, it�s been a while since I have seen or talked to any of them." I said nervously.
"Britney, they still see you as their little sister. They are so proud of what you have done in life, they would love to see you again." The look in his eyes is so sincere, I couldn�t refuse.
"Ok," I said quietly as we walk to his car and drove off toward the Compound.
"So, you are still seeing that Reg guy?" He asked.
"Yeah," That was all I said to him, and he knows not to push me on that subject.
As we got closer to the Compound, my heart started to beat faster.
"Justin, maybe this wasn�t such a good idea." I said quietly.
"What are you talking about, just relax, these guys are crazy about you." Justin said without taking his eyes off the road.
When we got there, the memories of those few weeks I spent here started to surface.
"You okay?" Justin asked me as we got to the main entrance of the mansion.
"Yeah, just a little nervous, that�s all." I said with a nervous smile.
"Well, don�t be. It�s gonna be okay." He said with a smile that could melt my heart.
"Hey, anyone in here?" Justin shouted out we got inside.
Everything was still the same way it was, nothing has been changed.
"Yeah, in the kitchen," I hear Chris yelled from the kitchen.
Justin and I looked at each other, and laughed. He suddenly grabbed my hand and started to walk toward the kitchen.
"Hi, guys look who I ran into." Justin said as he and I got into the kitchen.
They all looked so surprised. Chris was the first one to come and hug me, the rest of the guys followed him. "Hi Britney, it�s good to see you."
"It is good to see you all too." I said with a smile.
"Um� I am a little confused here, how did you two ran into each other?" JC asked
"Oh, we ran into each outside of the studio." Justin said as he went over to the fridge to get something to eat.
"Oh that�s right, Britney, you are recording again." Lance said, "I can�t wait to hear some of the stuff."
"I just got started, but I won�t be in studio again until next week, I have a few shows to do." I said sadly.
"How have you been?" Joey finally asked.
"Busy, but good," I said with a laugh.
"I hear ya," and all the guys give out a small laugh.
"Britney, can I ask you something?" Chris said after a few minutes. I nodded. " Why did you leave then?"
"Because� because sometimes you try to follow your heart, but your mind just keeps getting in the way." I said as my eyes met Justin�s across the room.
"You know what that doesn�t matter now, because you are here now, and that�s what really matters." Justin said after a few minutes of silence.
For the next few hours, we talked about experiences in the industry, and we laughed about everything and anything.
The Next Day�
Prince and Princess of Pop Found Love with Each Other?
Are Justin Timberlake and Tonya Mitchell over? The Pop Prince certainly thinks so. Justin was photographed outside of the studio with Britney Spears, someone he has been linked to before, the two left in the same car, and headed to the *Nsync Compound, where the group is staying while they are in Orlando. Britney and Justin first met on MMC when they were twelve. At first Britney was an opening act for *Nsync a couple of years ago, but for some unknown reason, she went on tour with Backstreet Boys, and was rumored she was dating Nick Carter, but both denied the rumor, saying they are just friends. Some speculates that the reason Britney left the tour was because Justin had decided to come clean about his relationship with Tonya. Now everyone knows that Justin and Tonya�s romance has been on the rocks ever since they came out almost two years ago, especially with Tonya landing a recording contract a year ago. Inside sources tell us that the guys of *Nsync isn�t very supportive of the relationship between Justin and Tonya, but the are all for a relationship between Justin and Britney. "The guys don�t like Tonya, mainly because she is not part of the *Nsync family, no matter how hard they try to accept her, she just can�t be one of them. Britney is like a little sister to them, and they met Tonya after the have met Britney, they always wanted Justin to be with Britney because Britney is the kind of girl you can trust. She isn�t with Justin because of money or fame, she has her own. However Tonya, who is managed by Lynn Harless, Justin�s mother, couldn�t get any recording label to sign her before she and Justin came out, the main reason she was signed isn�t because of her talent, it is because the publicity she was receiving." Seems like Justin�s band mates are not the only ones supporting Justin and Britney. Both Justin and Britney�s mothers are also rooting for their children to get together. "Even though, Lynn likes Tonya, but she is just not Britney, to Lynn her son is meant to be with Britney. Lynne knows that Britney has a boyfriend, but she also knows that her daughter has very strong feelings for Justin, they are most certainly stronger than the feelings she has for her current boyfriend." Well looks like to us that Miss Spears and Mr. Timberlake already has many fans in their social group, but will they really get together? Stay tuned.
"Fe, I can�t believe they are reporting this." I whined to my assistant and best friend.
"Well, I can�t say they are completely wrong." Fe said without looking at me.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, anyone can see what you and Justin have is special. And whether you like it or not, it is something that you will never have with Reg." Fe left me in the room to think after she said that.
With Justin in my life, I feel like I could do anything, and he would stand by me and support me. With Reg, he just doesn�t understand, maybe because he is not in the business, I don�t know. But whatever it is, Justin is still my friend, and Tonya, there is just something about her tells me that she is trouble. I need to find out whatever it is soon, or I have a feeling something very bad is going to happen soon.
