The Matthew Cranman Foundation is committed to creating awareness in an effort to prevent testicular cancer through education and community involvement. We also strive to keep Matthew's memory alive through faith, friendship and the desire to help others.

The Matthew Jason Cranman Foundation was created in November, 1997 after Matthew lost his two-year struggle with Testicular Cancer. Matthew's death was a tragedy for countless reasons, yet none more devastating that the fact that he was only twenty-four years old. He was a young man who had a world of opportunities stolen from him by a fatal disease.

Matthew exemplified the true meaning of courage before and during his illness. Whether it was faith or friends, Matthew always spoke his mind and stood up for what he believed in. Matthew's passing affected his family and friends in such a way that our lives will never be the same. We created this scholarship fund to honor Matthew's memory and to give us a piece of Matthew to hold on to for the rest of our lives.
