The Horsemanship Program will teach campers how to properly take care of, groom, work around, tack up and feed horses. The campers will learn some of the more common equine illnesses and how to treat them, as well as hoof care and common hoof problems.
The campers will learn how to care for their tack and have an understanding of the proper fitting of saddles and bridles to horses. The program offers western, hunt, and saddleseat riding instruction. We will also offer dressage, and stadium jumping as well as cross country. Lasting View Morgans incorporate a variety of techniques into our riding instruction including centered riding, dressage, and balanced riding. Our goal is to create competent and confident riders. We emphasize quiet hands, moving fluidly with the horse and strive to develop an understanding of how a rider can influence and enhance their horses movement.

Tuition $ 500
Deposit $100
