Sore Losers

Losers, not just any losers but sore losers. They are the bane of all that is Ants. Personally, I usually play just for fun, to just hang out and get a few good games in. It is a lot easier to appreciate good strategies and other such things instead of getting bitter because you just racked up another in the ever climbing loss column. But alas, even in the safety of games that are just for fun, I become the victim of sore losers. Once after playing a well coordinated 2v2 Treasure game this annoyance entered the scene. After what had been a very enjoyable game and nothing but complements to each other, our opponents began to lash out with insults and accusations of having ridiculously high lag, blah blah, cheaters, how did you blah ... etc. Nothing puts a worse taste in my mouth then a very good game being ruined by someone's bruised ego.
Now I realize that some people do lag (alot). But if you know that someone is lagging, what is yelling insults about their mom going to do? I like to think that players must be better than me in order to beat me, rather that it was a coppy game, that is usually comfort for me.
Please people, WHEN you get beaten, don't immediately go on the defensive. I personally try to learn after every defeat and to give the one who defeated me the credit and glory he earned by beating me. If only the people who feel that whining and insulting was the answer realized how ignorant they appear to be. Not only have they lost the game, but they persist and accomplish nothing more than losing the respect of whoever they where playing against. It is hard to turn the other cheek, but it will do more good that many can even imagine...

"Excellent point, sore losers start pointless controversy, talk shit, degrade themselves and make the game not worth playing. We must learn from their mistakes and show them we are above that. Their 10 year old arguments are just.. pathetic"
